RESIDENTIAL SOLAR

Residential Solar Power is a proven mature market within Australia now, and Future Sustainability has installed thousands of systems.

Solar power for your home has now become a tailored offering. Each homes use different amounts of power at different times of the day, so there is not really a “One Size Fits All” solution. The table below will give you and idea of the size solar system you need, but there can be more to it. Solar panel and inverter types are also highly recommended to be quality brand materials and not just a white labelled product with a warranty that is only as strong as the company backing it. That is why at Future Sustainability we only use proven high quality products like Phono Solar, LG, Q-Cell, Power-One Aurora, ABB, SMA, and SUNGROW.

  • HOW IT WORKS

  •

The Red in the chart represents the power usage in your home. Typically there is not such a high usage during the day, but with the help of timers, this can be achieved

Solar power is a direct replacement for utility grid power. Whatever you can produce and use in your home, the lower your quarterly bill will be. What you don’t use you sell back.

The Purple line represents the solar production of a 5kW Solar PV System for an average day in Queensland. It will produce somewhere from 20 – 25kWh of usable power.

The Green shaded area represents the directly usable solar power into that home. Instead of consuming 36kWh of grid power from 7am to 5pm,  they have now only consumed 15kWh.

Daily items in your home that you can move to the day for solar usage are: Pool Pumps, Water Pumps, Washing Machine, Dryers, Dishwashers, and Air Con/Heating.
